Children
Classes start for girls and boys from 2 years old. From the very first steps, skips, runs, jumps and learning how to clap rhythms, we strive to give all our students individual attention and positive encouragement so whatever level your training takes you to, dance will become an important life skill that helps to build self-confidence, imagination and creativity. Even if you are a teenager and have never danced before - don’t be scared to try it – we have a non-syllabus ‘Teens’ class specifically designed to help you explore dance and the physical benefits it brings.
For classical ballet, we teach the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus – from Pre-Primary and Primary, Grades 1 to 8 and the Vocational grades. The RAD is one of the largest and most influential dance education and training organisations in the world and the syllabus provides an excellent introduction to classical ballet, including free movement and character dance.
For tap and modern, we teach the ISTD syllabus from Pre-Primary to Advanced and as with our ballet training, we welcome girls and boys of all ages who either wish to pursue a career in dance, or want to dance purely as a hobby. We invite our students to be entered for the RAD and ISTD examinations depending on capabilities and readiness. We are proud of our excellent exam results with a 100% pass rate but there is no pressure to do examinations and they are certainly not compulsory!
Our contemporary dance classes are also very popular and depending on age, we run Junior and Senior classes which are held on Tuesdays.

Free Trial Lessons
Children can come along for a free, no obligation trial lesson and if your son/daughter enjoys it, we assess which class and level is most appropriate before you decide to enrol.
Presentations, Shows and Workshops
It’s important for mums and dads to see how your children are progressing. At the end of each term we invite you to watch a presentation class. On a much grander scale, we host a bi-annual Show open to all our students. Performing isn’t for everyone but we see important social and psychological benefits like team work, self-discipline and confidence building – skills which our students can carry into other aspects of their lives.
Our popular Summer Workshop takes place every August and provides an opportunity to learn other dance genres like musical theatre, commercial jazz, street and hip hop. We have a highly experienced team of guest teachers who make this dance bonanza a favourite event in the calendar.
